Today’s post is likely going to be a bit shorter than previous days’ because I have put myself on a tight leash time-wise for writing out my thoughts tonight.

Regarding my attempt to regain efficiency with time management: I’ve been doing terribly. I got some done today regarding getting through David Sedaris’ Masterclass as well as writing the Cormac McCarthy episode that is going up in a couple of hours, but other than that I’ve been horribly unproductive for no apparent reason. Partly, I’m probably not checking the time often enough, meaning that I am not sufficiently aware of it enough to monitor it. Partly, I don’t know how to be efficient in the coziest environment ever, cats and all.

To do another daily walk-through, my day started with a matcha latte and some tutoring.

Matcha!

Matcha!

As you may have read on my edits to yesterday’s post, after getting about 50 pages of the way through “Cleanness,” it got downright nasty, so I had to stop reading. “Patrimony,” by comparison, is much more my speed for book #4 this break.

And, to check in with my progress on the painting, it’s definitely changed over the last 24-hours, but it’s definitely 100% not done yet. The second painting I started because of an excess of some of the colors that I was using on the first painting, and at this stage I am calling it “Banana Tree.”

Other than that, all I have to say is auf wiedersehen, lovely readers!

Cheers,

Mackenzie
